Pastoral Care

Abington Avenue URC values each person. Pastoral care is provided by many, in different ways. It often occurs within friendships or existing small groups. We have Pastoral Care working alongside the Minister and the Elders.

The team aims to offer emotional, spiritual and practical support, – often praying with people, offering a listening ear or giving guidance or practical support where appropriate. We also bless people with the flowers which have been in Church on a Sunday.

We have a prayer chain via email, so that church members can pray for those who need prayer for themselves/friends/family. Ask the church administrator for details. [email protected]

Prayer is available for those who ask following the morning services. Also you can write down your prayer requests on a card at the reception desk.
