Abington Avenue United Reformed Church is a Christian Church and part of the United Reformed Church. We are here to serve the community and to offer a place of Christian worship open to all. We are led by our Eldership team and our Minister, Revd Jane Wade who works with with us 50% of her time (and 25% across the NACP congregations.)
We are a community of faith of all ages and differing backgrounds, drawn together by Jesus Christ to worship and serve God and exploring what it means to be His people today. We seek to follow the guidance of God and to grow and develop with the power of His Spirit.
Our logo symbolises our belief that, like Jesus whom we seek to follow, we are here to share with others and to serve.
After listening to the people of the neighbourhood, we adopted this Mission Statement:
‘To worship, serve and proclaim Jesus Christ, offering his love and care to all people, with special concern for young families and the elderly. We welcome others to join in our mission.’
