Activities During 2026
We certainly had Friday Friendship & Fun on the 21st August, where by popular request we for the 2nd year enjoyed Northampton’s River Nene waterways on the Community Spirit by Crusader Community Boating. We were blessed by the fine weather to enjoy each other’s company and a high tea & varied refreshments.
The feedback in the following weeks from our lunch crowd was very positive in their enjoyment.
September 25th was a singalong by the firm favourite Ukes with a songs of colours theme, they created a great sing-along to 🟣🔶🟢multi-coloured songs.🟢🔷🟡 and we sang about that ♦️Lady in Red♦️ walking down the 🟡yellow🟡brick road to see the 🟡yellow submarine of course whilst thinking about the 🟩green, green🟩 grass of home and more🔶. Moving melodies.
October 23rd will see all enjoy gentle pre-Christmas movement bending & stretching with Osteopath Bob – he’s ever popular and helps all enjoy moving more.
Alan a regular luncher and resident jigsaw fan likes to ‘keep his brain moving’ with challenging picture jigsaws. This was recently completed.
