‘This beautiful verse from Psalm 46 v 10 is one for meditating on and we hope these two banners will help. The first banner- Be Still- shows still waters which run deep. The story behind this banner is that I had searched for some time to find a pool of still water to illustrate this notion. But it was not until I was on a train from Bergen to Oslo that I spotted this scene. I quickly took a photograph and when I looked at it I noticed my own view of the hills and the sky was limited by the window frame in the train, but the reflection in the still water showed the magnificence of the heavens and the whole scene. I felt the Lord saying- you see so much more in the stillness! In the second banner we have a cross section of the sun made up of many names of God. These reflect God’s omnipotence and some of the different facets of the Almighty God that we might experience when we are still and know God.’
