Believe, Receive, Forgive, Release, Reflect, Worship
These banners came from an inspiration on a walk. Five of the six words came to me as words which could sit on the six pillars in our sanctuary and enhance worship. I took them back to the group and together we prayed and explored what the words meant to us in terms of life experience, colour, form and symbols. We created a piece of fabric for each word by overlaying strips of fabric and net and then machine stitching over them to merge them together. Then we cut out the letters and mounted them on pillar- like fabric. The process was creative, spiritual and enjoyable! The end product we hope and pray is helpful to worship.
